Looking to save thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours on a Van's Aircraft RV-7 kit?
Selling my RV-7 project consisting of the empennage kit, wing kit, and fuselage kit. The finishing kit is not included, but it is also where you get to pick all the important features like taildragger or tricycle gear, tip-up or slider canopy, engine mount, etc., allowing you to make it YOUR airplane.The following is included:
Empennage Kit - Mostly finished, need to rivet spar, attach control surfaces, etc. Electric trim tab kit included.
Wing Kit - all spar work is done, skins are drilled and dimpled, leading edges assembled, and fuel tanks (except rear baffle) are assembled. Leading-edge landing lights already mounted.
Fuselage Kit - has not been started. Parts were inventoried and the packing paper removed from the crate but the parts are still in the crate.
Tools - Various tools, such as a pneumatic rivet squeezer, rivet gun, air drill, dimple dies, C-frame dimpler, clecos/pliers, bits, bucking bars, etc. The air tools probably need to be refurbished.
Located in Eugene, OR, this kit is for pick-up and sold complete only. All finished components have been etched, treated with alodine, and primed using 2-part epoxy chromate primer. The spars/baffles have not been attached on most components, including the horizontal and vertical stabilizers fuel tanks, leading edges, etc. This will allow you to inspect the inside and easily change any rivets you don't like.
