These pictures are from Mile High Mayhem, the annual 3-day spring launch (April 15-17, 2005) sponsored by Northern Colorado Rocketry. I drove out Friday afternoon to stay the night, though due to typical last minute scrambling, I didn't get to see any launches that day. But, I managed to secure my spot on the flight line, and enjoyed the fine company of other rocketeers to get me in the mood for an awesome weekend of rocketry.
I flew 3 birds this weekend, ranging from biggest to smallest:
- My 6" level-2 rocket, "Sparky", flown as a drag race with Steve Marshall on an Aerotech K-700.
- My 4" rocket, "Endo", on her maiden flight on an Aerotech J-275.
- The good ol' Bull Puppy, newly restored and a little longer.
