The PinBoggs pinball tournaments are private events held at my house. Since space in my house and the number of machines are limited I have to put a limit on the number of players and an RSVP is required. IFPA requires a minimum of 16 players for a private event to count for WPPR points and I have room for a maximum of approximately 20 people. If you are interested in attending and it is full already, let me know and I'll add you to the waitlist and list of folks interested in hearing about future events.
A note about the waitlist: players on the waitlist are expected to show up and are welcome to hang out whether they get to play or not. Whether you're on the player list or the waitlist please let me know if you can not make it so that I can bump other players up who want to play. Due to the limited space, players who are not on the waitlist or the player list are requested to not come just to socialize. If you say you're going to play and are a no-show, you will get a warning and may not receive personalized invitations to future events if it happens repeatedly. Cancelling due to being sick is always understandable and appreciated, though.
The tournament will be held on Friday, December 13th, 2024 @ 7:00pm PST at my house. Email or text for the address, registration starts at 6:30pm. (Please don't show up earlier than that unless you want to help me clean!) The format is a 5-round match play qualifying main tournament with 7-5-3-1 scoring and a top 8-10 (depending on available machines) will go on to an Amazing Race final. If you haven't played this final format yet, it's bound to be fun! Entry fee is $10 with all proceeds going to payouts for the finalists.
